WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust, ref 1601, circa 1968, 36mm x 43mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with 18K rose gold fluted bezel, brown leather strap, excellent refinished white pie pan dial with applied rose gold baton indices and a date aperture at 3, 26J cal 1570, s#1954785, triple signed, inside back ref 1601 with IV.68 date code. Includes a later outer Rolex box.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; excellent-plus refinished dial; excellent matching rose hands show light spotting; polished case shows light wear, light dings on the backs of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet; original rose Rolex signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction. Box shows very little wear.
